APA Sports Physiotherapy Group

Physiotherapists who are members of he Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA)
keep up to date with the latest advances in their field so that you receive the best care
available. APA members are bound by a professional Code of Conduct and mandatory
continuing professional development.

APA members with a special interest in sports physiotherapy join the Association’s Sports Physiotherapy Group (SPG) so that they can extend their skills and knowledge of the latest physiotherapy and sports medicine research.

When you consult a member of the SPG you will benefit from their experience and knowledge
of the latest evidence-based practice, skilled assessment and diagnosis. SPG members use
effective ‘hands-on’ management techniques to assist recovery and prevent injury.
